Iona Edwards

I was brought up on a farm in Henryd, near Conwy and after obtaining a mathematics degree from The University of Nottingham I worked for Deloitte in Cardiff where I trained as a Chartered Accountant. After three years I decided to move back to North Wales and worked for a smaller firm where I trained as a Chartered Tax Adviser.

In 2008 I established a practise in the market town of Llanrwst, in the Conwy Valley.

I live in Llansannan with my husband and three daughters. We farm around 100 acres and my husband Meurig is a cattle foot trimmer. I enjoy singing, shopping and going out for meals.

I am originally from Bala and moved to Cwmpenanner to farm after marrying Hefin my husband. We have two daughters, Elin and Mared.

I am a member and treasurer of the local Chapel. In my spare time I enjoy being a member of Merched y Wawr and I also compete with the recitation choir Rhiannedd y Cwm.

I am from the Conwy Valley, living on a farm in Capel Garmon and have been educated early on the finance issues of farming.

After studying at Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy  I graduated with a degree in Accounting and Finance with Mangement from Aberystwyth University and am currently studying for a professional qualification.

My main hobbies are keeping fit and exploring the outdoors in Eryri. I also like to socialise with my friends and travel.

Connie Sheridan

Originally from Australia but grew up in Henllan, which is where I’ve lived for the past 20 years.

Following in my mother’s footsteps I wanted to go into accounting and studied an Accounting & Finance degree at Leeds Metropolitan University.

I’m currently half way through my ICAEW exams studying towards my ACA qualification.

In my spare time I like to spend time with friends and family and enjoy travelling to different places on holiday.’
